Matt Phairas - Lead Vocals

Born and raised the son of a preacher man in rural Indiana, Matt grew up singing in the church. At age 5 he sang his first solo, "This Little Light Of Mine", while rockin' a lightning bug costume and he's been singing ever since. After graduating High School, Matt moved to Los Angeles and quickly integrated himself into the local music scene, most notably as the lead singer of Burning Blue.
After years of label showcases and heavy drinking, he bribed his way into the lucrative world of commercial jingle singer, with his voice feautured on national ads for Michelin, Ore-Ida, Mastercard and Burger King as well as numerous internet, radio and regional ads.
In addition to his role as lead singer of the mighty Spoon Bender, Matt can also be heard and seen singing in the Classic Soul & Motown band Stone Soul. www.stonesoul.com, playing numerous events for Los Angeles radio giant KRTH 101 and at a free summer concert in a public park near you!

Tony Gray - Lead Guitar, Vocals

A native of Southern California, Tony first picked up the guitar at age 12 and never looked back. He has developed a style rooted in rock, blues, country and metal after years of recording and playing live with various bands and projects including The RATS, Burning Blue, Bad Stone, Deliverance, Munkafust, Dream Live Misery, D.O.D., the Electric Stares, Flannel High, Amy Heffernan, and Spoon Bender.

Erick Hill - Drums

Born in Los Angles and a student with USC faculty since age 10. Erick is cultivating a career in music education and performance. Having a musical background, Erick showed aptitude at an early age for playing drums. Erick continues to study and perform and today. Erick does occasional recording sessions and performs in various groups as well as teach students. Erick earned a degree in Jazz Studies from USC after receiving a scholarship from the Dean of the School of Music to attend there.

Dominic Kelly studied jazz music at Berklee college of Music, and earned a BA in classical music from Loyola Marymount University.
